Get ready for the 2024 NFL Fall Flag Football season! This fun and exciting 7-practice/6-game season takes place on Sundays and ends in a Flag Madness one-day tournament to crown the first- and second-placed teams in each division. NFL Flag is perfect for first-time players and those looking to enhance their skills. With a non-contact, recreational, and co-ed 5 vs. 5 format and teams limited to 10 players for maximum playing time, it's a great way to get out on the field and have a blast. Don't miss out on the fun!
Our games always begin promptly at 1:00 PM every Sunday. Exact schedules for teams with times will be posted 2 weeks before the season start date. Practices take place on Tuesdays for one hour each week to ensure a convenient and fun experience for all! Schedule times can vary from week to week. Although there may be minor adjustments to the schedule, we will ensure that you are kept up-to-date. We are excited to see you on the field!
Participants will receive an NFL FLAG reversible jersey, NFL Flag shorts, and Flag Belt/Flags, theirs to keep that is included in their registration! (Refer to our
sizing chart for jerseys, as the NFL FLAG styles/sizes have recently been updated). Players will receive their equipment at the season's Meet and Greet**.
We do not honor buddy, coach, or sibling requests as a recreational league. Players are drafted by coaches after the Pre-Season Combine. Any player not attending the combine will be placed randomly to fill any remaining opening on a team in that grade division.
NFL Flag Alabama is a volunteer-based league that aims to unite the community. Our program relies on volunteer parents to coach our teams! It would be greatly appreciated if parents could step up and lend a hand. We encourage all parents interested in volunteering to do so during the registration process. Each team will have up to 3 volunteers assigned. Positions available are Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Team Manager. We will provide several resources along with a comprehensive coaches' meeting via Zoom before the season's Meet and Greet to ensure all coaches have a fun and successful season! Registration will be from May 1st, 2024 - September 8th, 2024. The cost to register is $110. A 2 Payment plan is available until 9/8/24. An initial payment of $60 of the Division Price is due at registration. The remainder will be automatically charged to the card on file on 9/15/2024 with a $10 installment fee added to 2nd payment.

FAMILY DISCOUNT/MULTIPLE PLAYERS:
We love having siblings play in our league together. Therefore, we would like to offer you a $10 discount for each additional sibling you register this season. You will find this discount automatically applied at checkout during the registration process.
RCX SPORTS FOUNDATION:
The RCX Sports Foundation is accepting applications for families and participants who are in under-resourced areas and need assistance. Families must qualify and provide household annual income. All applications MUST be received before the registration deadline and funds are limited. IMPORTANT SEASON DATES FOR THE FALL 2024 SEASON:
Pre-Season Combine: Sunday, September 8th, 2024 (Our coaches pick the teams at the combine so your child must attend to make sure they get assessed by a coach.)
Season Start Date (Meet and Greet/Uniform Pickup): Sunday, September 29th, 2024
Season First Game: Sunday, October 13th, 2024
Season Expected End Date: Sunday, November 17th, 2024
Blackout Date: Sunday, October 6th, 2024 (Fall break)
Makeup Date: Sunday, November - TBD (It is common to use this date for weather delays and/or field conflicts)
The MOJO App will show your roster and schedule, including your meet-and-greet time, practices, and games. There is also a team chat function to stay in contact with coaches and other players on the team. Once rosters are confirmed, you will get a notification that the team pages are ready.
